Question: What network protocols does Employee Activity Monitor use?
Answer:
It uses TCP/IP. Employee Activity Monitor Manage program uses IP port 4821(TCP). Employee Activity Monitor Service program uses IP port 4820(TCP), Agent program uses ports 4800(TCP) 4801(TCP) and 4802(TCP). They should be free to work properly. If you have firewall installed, you need to enable communications through these ports for Employee Activity Monitor.

- I have the trial version installed but have a question about the client pc. On the pc which I'm trying to monitor it shows the monitor server icon in the tray and right clicking this gives the user the option to exit. Is there some way to hide this as I wish to monitor an employees internet activity but as he is technically competant he WILL notice the icon in his sys tray. Thanks Paul
